Valentino withdrawals model Koki’s Valentino Divas campaign.

Valentino a big fashion house, has dropped model koki from its recent Valentino divas global campaign, a magnetic personalities and stories.. were the models tell there stories and show there personalities.

In her video campaign Koki, is seen stepping on a Japanese fabric which recalls a traditional obi and is even seen wearing shoes on the doorstep or inside a Japanese traditional house.

Now to make it all make sense, wearing shoes in the house is seen as disrespectful as they are deemed dirty, so walking on an obi ( kimono sash ) while wearing heels was definitely seen as offensive, Valentino came under fire for it which led to them pulling off the campaign and making an apology which I believe had been well received considering they may have not know the culture rules etc.
